Laurelhurst Remodel

The owners of this house in Seattle’s historic Laurelhurst neighborhood had done a remodel years prior and were not able to finish. While the exterior of the house is Tudor, the owners wanted to depart on the interiors. The result is a striking contemporary bathroom with sliding windows three stories above the gardens looking towards Lake Washington.

Additionally, the owners wanted an Accessory Dwelling Unit which borrowed from the Tudor Architecture of the exterior while still allowing for a departure inside with the dramatic contemporary finishes and millwork.
