Ravenna Remodel

Originally a 1940’s “war box” home in Seattle’s Ravenna neighborhood, this house had been remodeled multiple times. The owners approached us because the exterior just didn’t feel right to them. The windows were a mix of styles and were not aligned. The paint on the beveled siding was peeling, and the entry was undistinguishable. We arrived on a shingle style, reminiscent of the houses in Cape Code. The columned entry porch and copper roofed bay windows provided a more sophisticated greeting.
